Experience

Aimee has over 12 years of experience in Early Childhood Consultancy, Child & Parent Counselling, Child Development (Pre-school Teaching & Nannying), Child Protection Casework and being a loving and involved mum. These diverse roles have assisted Aimee in developing an indepth understanding of child development, the practicalities of parenting and general life and how these three components integrate together.

 Background

Aimee is passionate and dedicated to children and parents and strives to make parenting easier and enjoyable. Through her work within the community and in early childhood she recognised a need for individually tailored parenting advice and a service that could where necessary combine early childhood consultancy and parent/child counselling. From this, Beta Kidz Consultancy was established, initially as an in-home service and later as an online service.  Through utilising latest technology advancements, Aimee can now bring you the same individually tailored service that you would receive via an in-home consultation over the internet, either through web-cam (face-to-face) or text-based (email) communications.

Since becoming a mum, Aimee now recognises the importance of every single moment in a parent's day, trying to juggle work and home commitments, being a wife, and a mother and all the other bits in between.  Therefore Aimee provides an online service that provides timely advice to parents from the comforts of their own home and at times that suit them.

 Philosophy

Aimee believes that parents are the best source of knowledge of what is right for your family and aims to provide you with new strategies and knowledge to apply to your parenting that suit your individual family needs.  She aims to highlight your strengths and build on these to enhance your confidence and parenting abilities.  Parenting goals are set based on the outcomes that you would like to achieve.  She aims to empower you, give you the 'tricks of the trade' and support you when learning, applying and refining your parenting skills.

Aimee aims to understand your unique situation including your parenting beliefs. From this she combines her training and experience with an understanding and approachable, non-judgemental mannerism to empower you in reaching your parenting goals.

Aimee's advice and techniques come from a combination of training, professional development and tried and tested techniques that have been proven to work over and over again. Advice is not medical or scientific, yet aims to be basic, practical and useful. Advice should be extracted that best suits your parenting beliefs and lifestyle and should not take the place of medical advice.
